An oriental inspired wall hanging, (measuring 9″ x 42″ approximately), featuring a part of the Hong Kong skyline with a setting sun and an auspicious symbol hovering over the high rise. This wall hanging looks stunning with an ombre (shaded) fabric as the background but is equally beautiful with a batik or even hand painted background. The pattern contains six pages of written instructions, how-to images, templates and a full requirements list. This pattern is suitable for people that can use a sewing machine for straight and zigzag stitch, have the basics of machine quilting using a walking foot, the basics of rotary cutting and fusible web applique. However each part of the creative process is clearly shown in the pattern. There is some lee-way for personal interpretation of the layout of the high rise buildings and there are a couple of alternative methods suggested to achieve the auspicious symbol.
Additional products that you might like to purchase to complete the project are transfer foils, glue granules and pressure sensitive glue.
