An Elephant for Good Luck


This kits are inspired by travels in Rajasthan where animal symbolism is used to represent good luck, love and power. This is the Elephant for Good Luck. The corner triangles are stencilled by hand and foiling techniques are used to embellish the saddle and cap. The kit includes all fabrics, wadding, backing, binding, foils, sequins and full instructions. It is approximately 14″ square when finished.

Product Description

This wall hanging looks stunning in lilac and purple Moda fabrics from their ‘Grunge’ range. The wadding is an 80/20 mix and the backing fabric is a plain cream calico. Black bias binding completes the project. Included in the pack is freezer paper for the stencil design, fusible web and metallic foils

The pattern contains several pages of written instructions, how-to images, and templates  This kit is suitable for people that can use a sewing machine for straight and zigzag stitch, have the basics of machine quilting using a walking foot, the basics of rotary cutting and fusible web applique. However each part of the creative process is clearly shown in the pattern. 

Not included in the pack are threads, a stencil brush or black acrylic paint.
